Manage, plan, organize and execute the Bank’s strategic initiatives
Monitor and manage the scheduling and reporting of projects and initiatives.
Report overall projects status to relevant Management/Board level committees
Organise and facilitate working level execution meetings and review progress against commitments
Manage and support project leads and business analysts in project and task prioritization
Manage overall communication program / project vision and strategies to the broader organization
Manage project team members (that are made up of representatives from the various business divisions) and provide regular feedback on performance, coaching and mentoring
Ability to effectively performance manage when necessary (project members as well as the broader personnel in the organization having a stake in the projects)
Ability to identify areas of improvement in each team member and offer solutions to overcome them
Manage project budgets, when necessary
To assist the Director of Strategy & Development in the overall strategic planning and financial analysis of the Bank
Education Requirements: Degree in Finance/Business preferred OR relevant professional qualifications
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of project experience at the supervisory or management level. Experience in strategic planning and finance will be an added advantage.
Industry Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial services industry preferred
Negotiation Skills: Ability to form relationships at various levels in the organization, and influence, be persuasive and obtain commitment, without sacrificing professional integrity
Attention to detail: Ability to quickly detect roadblocks and problems and quickly come up with solutions on how to rectify the problems. Must have very good editing skills (for reporting)
English Communication Skills: Apart from fluency in Vietnamese, the candidate must be able to communicate and report effectively in English (this position reports to a non-Vietnamese Project Director)
Multi – Tasking: Must be able to manage multiple priorities across diverse business units.
Computer Literacy: Must have a good working experience with the usual Microsoft office applications – Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc. Knowledge of various project management tools will be an added advantage.
Management/Leadership skills: Ability and aptitude to lead the project team on the stated objectives. Strong ability to coach, motivate and develop staff. Ability to effectively performance manage. Ensure that goals and objectives are communicated and executed within the set timelines.
Presentation skills: Comfortable in presenting effectively to all levels in the organisation and having the ability to think on his/her feet and lead meetings and discussions well
